NOVA CAPITAL PARTNERS’ MARK ALLEGRETTI DELIVERS SPEECH AT AFRICA INVESTMENT FORUM IN ACCRA, GHANA
New York, NY – February 16, 2010 – Nova Capital Partners, LLC was invited to speak during the 2010 Africa Investment Forum held in Accra, Ghana that was hosted by the United Kingdom’s Commonwealth Business Council (CBC).
As described by the CBC (www.cbcglobal.org), the Africa Investment Forum is an annual event enabling business and government leaders to jointly assess progress in promoting growth and development in Africa. The Forum, which was included the theme of “Accelerating Intra-African Trade and Investment”, was kicked off by speeches by a number of key African leaders, include H.E. John Atta Mills, President of the Republic of Ghana.
Mark Allegretti, a Managing Director at Nova Capital Partners, delivered a speech during the session entitled “Role of Private Equity and Venture Capital in Driving Africa’s Growth.” Along with senior bankers and private equity executives from leading institutions including Goldman Sachs, Renaissance Group and Kingdom Zephyr, Mr. Allegretti also fielded questions from the audience which covered a wide range of financial and related topics pertaining to the African continent.
